Tokayev criticizes sports federations for overreliance on state funding

ASTANA. Oct 17 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has criticized the heads of sports federations for depending too heavily on government financing, stressing that the development of sports should be regarded as a civic duty rather than a means of personal promotion.
